An eclectic career in various parts of the travel industry has led me to some of the most remote and beautiful corners of the world. I spent 10 months based in Beijing, travelling across China whilst attempting to master Mandarin; a few years later, I found myself in the foothills of the Himalayas, managing a boutique tea estate property near Darjeeling. These experiences fuelled a love of the East in particular, and more recent travels have taken me driving across the other-worldly desert landscapes of Wadi Rum, attending the annual Eagle Festival in Mongolia’s Altai Mountains and diving the world-class reefs of Raja Ampat. I enjoy the planning of adventures almost as much as the adventures themselves and take immense pride in creating beautifully bespoke journeys to some of the most spectacular destinations on earth.

I have just returned from...

Israel

I have just returned from a two-week trip around Israel, one of the most fascinating places to be right now with a geopolitical scene that cannot fail to intrigue. My visit threw up far more questions that it answered and I’m already keen to return. From observing the idiosyncrasies of daily life in the ultra-orthodox neighbourhoods of Jerusalem, sampling cutting-edge cuisine in buzzing Tel Aviv and attempting to understand the realities of Palestinians living in the West Bank, I visited historic sights and hidden corners, and found Israel to be a fascinating, vibrant and intense destination.
