EMBARK ON AN ADVENTURE IN MIDDLE-EARTH
Plan your luxury travel to New Zealand with our experts who have travelled far and wide in this incredible country to design the perfect trip for our clients. Compact yet incredibly diverse, New Zealand has it all. From fjords to rival Norway, deserted beaches that stretch for miles, smoking volcanoes and snow-capped peaks to glaciers, vast forests, verdant wine regions and vibrant cities, there’s almost nothing we can think of that you can’t find in this wonderful country. To top off New Zealand’s abundant natural splendour, there are the people. Famously relaxed and welcoming yet fiercely patriotic, the Kiwis have, perhaps, come to terms with their heritage better than any other nation. Māori culture and traditions are celebrated by all, and learning about these should be central to any visit.
It goes without saying that there are some wonderful hotels here, but we believe the most interesting way to enjoy the country is to stay in one of several small B&Bs – in New Zealand these are often seriously luxurious. Not only will you enjoy an authentic, local experience, but this being New Zealand, you are almost guaranteed to come away with friends for life! We have created some extraordinary, guided experiences to help you get under the skin of this fabulous place – whether that’s trekking with Māori elders, wine tasting in Central Otago, whale watching in Kaikura or flying over mountains in a helicopter, our experts have travelled far and wide in this incredible country to discover everything they need to know in order to design the perfect trip for our clients.

New Zealand Highlights
Dunedin
Dunedin is the second largest city on New Zealand’s South Island, but it must be one of the most picturesque. With its stunning baroque architecture, seafront location and wonderfully laidback feeling, it seems to sum up much of what makes the country so much fun to explore – and that’s even before you head out into Otago itself. The rugged coastline, with its steep cliffs and safe harbours, stretch for miles in every direction, the sea air helping to provide the perfect terroirs for some of the best pinot noir vineyards in the world. Dunedin may be close to the bottom of the world but should be near the top of the list for any trip to New Zealand.
Mount Aspiring
Explore Siberia Valley in the Southern Alps by helicopter to experience some of New Zealand’s most dramatic and remote corners. Discover hidden rivers, crater lakes and forests before landing on the snow-capped peak of Mount Aspiring. A three-hour hike through this uninhabited land takes you home to finish off what is guaranteed to be an unforgettable day.
Māori Experience, North Island
Mount Titiraupenga lies in the Waikato region of New Zealand’s North Island. Crowned by a distinctive vertical peak, this is a sacred Māori landmark, and is surrounded by one of the last ancient Rimu forests. Here you will receive your traditional Māori welcome before spending time with a master carver learning the Māori way of life. This is an intimate and private setting in which you can experience these stories and traditions completely outside of a normal “tourist” experience.
Area in Focus
Map
The area around Queenstown is one of New Zealand’s most beautiful regions. With majestic peaks, glaciers, forests and rivers, it is a great place to explore by helicopter or on foot.
